Our beautiful Lavender is rich in Linalyl Acetate, this natural aroma chemical is the main component found in true Lavender oil. Linalyl acetate is from the Ester family. Esters are usually floral or fruit notes, commonly perceived as having a pleasant odor. Studies show that Lavender oil can improve sleep in infants and the elderly and if used during sleep, your sleep can be prolonged and deeper. Lavender oil also has high amounts of Linalool in it. Linalool has proven to have a calming effect on the central nervous system in humans.
